I remember hanging out around Blog Row at the 2009 CPAC when Stephen Baldwin walked by and shouted, “HARDEST WORKING MAN IN THE BLOGOSPHERE!”
He wasn’t pointing at me. He was pointing at Ed Morrissey, who acknowledged Stephen with a smile and a wave, but was doing his show. I met Baldwin a while later and he asked me, “What’s RFC Radio?”
Fast forward to this year, he’s at CPAC again, and this time he’s got his own shin-dig at the place. When I am doing a live broadcast from the Smart Girls get together, I see Baldwin walk into the room, make a tour of the room, take some pictures with some folks, and exit.
I didn’t get to speak with him.
I wish I had.
I want to talk with him about God.
I read Stephen’s book, The Unusual Suspect: My Calling to the New Hardcore Movement of Faith, and loved it. It’s inspiring.
So is hearing him talk about his dedication to Christ and how he came to know Him.
I was a bit hesitant to post this here. First of all, I didn’t want to put anyone off. Second, it’s a political blog.
But I decided to post it, because I wanted to share this about me.
I’m not going to get to personal here, but I will say this.
I want what Stephen has.
