Bollinger: Ahmadinejad Yes, Grafitti No
By Andrew Riley • Oct 12th, 2007
Lee Bollinger, the brilliant President of Columbia University who recently invited Iranian Terrorist Nutjub Ahmadinejad to speak at his university is now denouncing anti-semitic grafitti found in a Columbia University bathroom.
An anti-semitic message that included a swastika was found etched into the wall of a bathroom at Columbia University on Thursday, just two days after a noose was discovered hanging from the door of a professor at Teachers College.
In a message to the Columbia community, President Lee Bollinger said he was saddend by the second incident of hate in a week.
“One of the bathrooms in Lewisohn Hall -was sullied with an anti-Semitic smear,” said Bollinger’s note. “It has been promptly removed and is now being investigated.”
Bollinger said such behavior would not be tolerated.
“Despite the irrational, destructive hatred that persists in our society and world, we do not accept this anywhere at this University. No one among us should feel marginalized or threatened by words of hatred.” [source]
Maybe I’m not understanding this correctly. It’s okay to let a guy who has been described as a modern day Hitler come speak to the students at Columbia. But someone scratched a swastika into the wall and that will not be tolerated.
At Columbia University it’s okay to have hatred and genocide in your heart, just as long as you don’t vandalize the bathroom wall.
Bollinger isn’t a guy who should be teaching our kids. He should be standing on a corner wearing a sign that reads, “Liberal Jackass”.
