Missouri Voters Too Stupid to Know What Prop C Means and Stuff

The overwhelming rejection of ObamaCare explains why Obama supporters are spinning Prop C as something other than a referendum on health care reform:

So tonight many commentators will likely report the falsehood that Missourians voted down health care reform. In reality, Missourians voted on a confusing measure, which many will not even understand. Those who do understand still will not have voted against health care reform. They will have voted against the individual mandate provision in health care reform. Finally, the measure will have little to no actual impact on the health care reform bill passed this year.

Got that?

If not, let me recap. First off, this isn’t what you think it is. The fact is, you’re most likely too stupid to understand what you voted for in the first place. And even if you do, you aren’t really voting for what you think you are voting for. And it doesn’t mean anything anyway.

I know I’m just a mouth breathing, knuckle dragging conservatarian, but let’s play along.

Even if I’m too stupid to understand what the proposition means, it’s the opposition’s position that I think I’m rejecting health care reform when I vote for it. If an overwhelming amount of morons, myself included, think they are voting against health care reform when they aren’t, isn’t that still a referendum on health care reform?

Logic is hard, isn’t it?

Just saying, this was about rejecting the oppressive nature of the federal government telling a free people what they have to surrender their property for, even if they don’t want to surrender it. We get that.

We are not too stupid to recognize tyranny when we see it.
