Perfect balance to the comic, very artful use of the expressions with only a bare minimum of text needed. You hit it on the Sweet Spot!!!

Gwen’s incredibly arrogant and dishonest response to the correction, that she was merely quoting and not mocking, is the cherry on top of this sundae. Not that there was any question she was biased against Palin in the debate, thankfully held mostly at bay because so many people pointing out her financial investment in Obama being elected.

PBS could be a hell of a lot better than it is, if it stopped with the political bias under guise of ‘being a progressive is more reasonable, so as objective reporters, we promote progressives’. Gwen is on par with Sean Hannity as far as objectivity goes.

It will take more than one lesson to school the libs in American History especially since they believe that it only started when Obama was elected.

  • Penultimate Warrior

Yeah take that you libs and demo-rats! Sarah Palin is soooooo smart! The University of Idaho is the new Harvard!!!!!!!!!!!!

The point here isn’t so much that Sarah is smart, it’s that leftists like Kos and Ifill are so mindbogglingly stupid. Anyone can mess up a date, but to mess it up when you are trying to mock someone else for doing the same is really, really dumb. Particularly since all they had to do was watch the full clip to realize she was referring to the Tea Party.

It’s also laughable the way they are almost all trying to deny that they didn’t know 1773 referred to the tea party. But it’s not surprising – they’re so wedded to their “Sarah is Dumb” narrative that admitting their stupidity would shatter their world-view.

And by the way, no one cares about academic credentials outside of academia itself.

      Troll much, lib?

  • betty

Love it. You gotta love Sarah, she makes monkeys out of all of them.

  • Guest

Yay! Sarah can name a year of a historical event! Give this woman a cookie!

    • Smarter than a Libtard

And those ‘smarter than Sarah’ Libs can’t!

      You lose, numnutz.

  • 1773BostonHarbor

Obama fools the media into thinking he is brilliant. Palin fools the media into thinking she is not. Either way, the operative word for media is “fools”.

Oh, I don’t think she’s even gotten warmed up yet on schooling them or anywhere near that last laugh. There’s more schooling for the libtards (and more laughs) on the way.

  • Joe Wages

I wonder how many of the libtards are Harvard Grads

Laughing like a drain, over here in England! It was bad enough for those and other commentators to miss the reference to the Boston Tea Party – that Sarah Palin was speaking at a TPN event should have jogged their memories! – but then to try and kid us that they’d known all along, and with such childishly feeble excuses, is an insult to our intelligence. Sometimes I think the only reason these people open their mouths is to change feet!

A lot of people aren’t aware that when Margaret Thatcher was first put forward to challenge Edward Heath for the leadership of the Conservative Party, her proposers were using her as a ‘stalking horse’ – never intending for her to make a serious bid, but just to gauge the level of support for a change of leader. At that stage, those considered to be serious contenders were keeping their heads down. Much to the horror of Thatcher’s proposers, when the contest got under way, far from being sidelined, she trashed her opponents and won!
When I first heard about Sarah Palin, saw the way she was treated by her own party, and read about the way the MSM treated her, I thought then that they were seriously underestimating her strengths, and that they might well come to regret it – just as did the British Conservative Party, and the British press.
All I’ve seen and heard since then has only confirmed my original views – that, like Margaret Thatcher, Sarah Palin may well bruise a lot more over-inflated egos, and upset a lot more apple carts before she’s done!
Finally – AAB; many thanks for the cartoon, which I greatly enjoyed!

“Spot On”, is, I believe, the proper response to your post. We’ve gone from King George to King Kong and beyond. Now, I’m afraid, we’ve acquired the 12th Imam in waiting. time for another revolution, I’m afraid.

I teach visual rhetoric and am currently having my students develop a visual argument. If you were in my class, I would give you an A for this. Nicely done.
