Let me preface this by reminding you that Pakistan is our ally.
Militants have executed all 11 men they kidnapped from a minibus in apparent retaliation for an assault by security forces on the stronghold of a militant cleric in northwestern Pakistan, a police official said Saturday.
The senior police officer, speaking on condition of anonymity, confirmed an account from a militant spokesman that all of the men kidnapped Friday on the outskirts of Swat district had been killed.
Jehangir Khan, a local resident, said he saw six beheaded bodies in the town of Matta on Saturday. Four were at the roadside and two near a hospital. The corpses had notes attached reading: “It is the fate of an American agent. Whoever works for America will face the same fate,” he said.
Earlier Saturday, police confirmed they had retrieved the beheaded bodies of three paramilitary troops and one policeman from the village of Ningulai, about five kilometers (three miles) away.
The location of the 11th body was unclear.
Can you imagine what it would be like if Pakistan wasn’t our ally? They might be protecting Osama or something… hmmm.
