Does This Reek of Indoctrination to Anyone Else?
By Duane Lester • Dec 28th, 2007Spider-man joins forces with…the United Nations? That is what is happening in a free comic book Marvel Comics is putting out soon. Webhead and the Blue Helmet Squad are teaming up to fight against disease and tyranny around the world:
In a move reminiscent of storylines developed during the World War II, the U.N. is joining forces with Marvel Comics, creators of Spider-Man and the Incredible Hulk, to create a comic book showing the international body working with superheroes to solve bloody conflicts and rid the world of disease.
The comic, initially to be distributed free to 1 million U.S. schoolchildren, will be set in a war-torn fictional country and feature superheroes such as Spider-Man working with U.N. agencies such as Unicef and the “blue hats,” the U.N. peacekeepers.
It seems to me that the United Nations are targeting the children in order to turn them into United Nations loving drones. Now, don’t get me wrong. I don’t think that they are going to read a comic and get glassy eyed. But this is obviously an attempt to get children to think of the United Nations in a favorable light. Why? What purpose does it serve if not to get children thinking about the United Nations as a good organization.
Maybe I’m just paranoid but this reeks of globalist indoctrination. It isn’t just happening in America, but it is being translated into other languages for distribution around the world. Get them while they are young.
