All American Hero: William F. Buckley Jr.

Conservative writer and commentator William F. Buckley has died at age 82, the New York Times reported on its Web site Wednesday. Buckley founded the political magazine National Review.
He is credited with fusing traditional conservatism with libertarianism, the basis for political beliefs such as those held by President Ronald Reagan.
He was a great man whose intellect will be sorely missed, particularly in the political realm.
Rest in peace, William F. Buckley.
