BBC: Documents Show “Correa has a relationship and commitments with Farc”.

Things just got a whole lot more interesting down south. Columbia is now saying that they recovered some documents in the raid that links Ecuador’s President Rafael Correa with Farc:

A spokesman for Colombian President Alvaro Uribe told reporters the documents provided information that “Correa has a relationship and commitments with Farc”.

Police commander Gen Oscar Naranjo said one document showed Reyes had met Ecuador’s minister of internal security and that they discussed Mr Correa’s “interest in making official relations with the Farc”.

Earlier, Colombian Foreign Minister Fernando Araujo went on television to express regret that it had to enter Ecuador.

But he said that the raid about 1.8km (one mile) inside Ecuador was “indispensable”.

As I noted before, Chavez called Reyes a “good revolutionary.” If Correa is in bed with Farc too, Columbia is in a tight spot. Troops are massing on two sides, with the leaders of both countries tight with the terrorists fighting against you.

Things are getting dangerously close to war. Columbia is our ally and we are no friend to Chavez. The next few days are going to be very interesting.
