Bloglines
Sister Toldjah recalls the best news she has heard all week. Zombyboy over at Resurrection song hammers Mike Huckabee on his feeble and offensive attempt at humor. And is it time to a serious third party? Malcolm Hedges at Howard was Right says it is.
Church of Global Warming
Steve Milloy of Junkscience.com has written a review of McCain’s climate speech. It wasn’t flattering.
The Nanny State
Warren Meyer at the Coyote Blog has a story about a kid who build a bike ramp and then crashed on said bike ramp. I think when I was a kid, we call ed this, um, playing. Anyway, the nanny state to the rescue. One woman says the government needs to make kids wear helmets. Wait until you hear this one.
Operation: Hearts and Minds
“Seven military members received USA Freedom Corps President’s Volunteer Service Awards through the Military Volunteer Recognition Initiative in a ceremony at the Eisenhower Executive Office Building here today.”
