Laura Ingraham to Get a Fox News Show

Laura Ingraham appears to be getting a spot on Fox News:

She could certainly continue doing the daily radio show from which she’s been mysteriously absent the past week or so - but Fox News Channel says she’ll be one of a series of personalities who get a shot at the permanent 5pm hosting job. She’ll start next Monday, June 16, in the time period that had been hosted by John Gibson until February, and more recently by Bill Hemmer and Megyn Kelly. The New York Times says it was the first to report the story online, late this morning, and it speculates that the current “America’s Election HQ” theme may have less relevance now, after Barack Obama has won the Democratic nomination. This morning’s T-R-I reported that Ingraham may be at the end of her radio contract with Talk Radio Network.

If she does, good for her. She’ll do fine. But let’s hope she continues her radio program.
