San Francisco CA, the national hub of liberal/socialist thought, has invaded the homes of its citizens once again. This time, the city is telling residents that if they have a gun in thier house, they have to store it in a lock box or have a trigger lock installed.
Now, here’s the best part:
Officials did not say how they plan to enforce the lock box and trigger lock requirements, but District Attorney Kamala Harris said that once people are aware of the new law, “they’re going to follow it.”
So the brilliant minds in the City of San Francisco government passed an law that they have no idea how to enforce. But they expect that people will just fall in line.
Consider this: A person breaks into a house and the homeowner pulls out his Kimber Custom II Family, sans trigger lock. He confronts the intruder and ends up perforating him. The intruder survives the education and is thrown in jail.
Question #1: How will the police know whether or not the gun had a trigger lock on it?
Question #2: Do you think that if there is a time when you need your gun, you should be compelled by law to delay your ability to protect your property or person?
Question #3: How many people will be hurt or killed while fumbling with a trigger lock or lock box?
Question #4: Will the criminal be able to sue the homeowner for not complying with the law that could have prevented his getting shot?
