Working As An Illegal Immigrant in America

These are the jobs that Americans won’t do? Not really. They are just the jobs Americans won’t do the way illegal immigrants will do them. As an illegal immigrant, you can be forced to work however the company you work for wants you to.

In Postville, Iowa, an ICE raid netted 389 illegal immigrants. With nothing to lose, they are talking:

One, a Guatemalan named Elmer L. who said he was 16 when he started working on the plant’s killing floors, said he worked 17-hour shifts, six days a week. In an affidavit, he said he was constantly tired and did not have time to do anything but work and sleep. “I was very sad,” he said, “and I felt like I was a slave.”

This is an all too common experience for many living as illegal aliens in America.
