Tim Kaine and Evan Bayh have both been told to have a nice career, but they are not vice presidential material. Meanwhile the Secret Service have a new person to take care of:

The United States Secret Service has dispatched a protective detail to assume the immediate protection of Sen. Joseph Biden, D-Del., a source tells ABC News, indicating in all likelihood that Biden has been officially notified that Sen. Barack Obama, D-Illinois, has selected him to be his running mate.

Joe Biden is a strong choice, but a walking gaffe machine. I wonder how long it will take to hear about the need for an Indian accent to work at a 7-11, or about how clean Barack Obama is.

By the way, did you know he was from a slave state?

This should be an interesting campaign.
