What is Up with the Denver Police? UPDATED

Hat Tip to Classically Liberal on this video. In it, you will see the Denver police working crowd control. Then you will see a Denver police officer strike a woman with his baton, shoving her to the ground while he yells, “BACK UP BITCH!”

Then, after she is back up and being interviewed, the police rush in, pull her away from reporters and other cops block the reporters from following her.

Now I know these guys are used to dealing with thick skulled Broncos fans, but these were dainty, peace loving, Marine hating Code: Pinkos. Even though they were communists, this seems a little over the top. They still have rights, even if they would deny me mine.

When you combine that with the actions the police took against the ABC producer who was taking pictures of Democrat party members and corporate donors, it makes me wonder what is up with the Denver police.

Anyone know the whole story behind this?

UPDATE:

Zombie was there. The woman knocked down was not following instructions, and taunting the Denver police. You reap what you sow.
