Obama and Biden Voted For Bridge to Nowhere?

The Chicago Daily Observer is reporting that both Democratic candidate Barack Obama and his vice presidential candidate Joe Biden voted for the infamous Bridge to Nowhere:

However, Sen. Biden and Sen. Obama voted for funding the Bridge, even when given a second chance by Sen. Tom Coburn, who proposed shifting earmark funds to Katrina relief.

Sen. McCain did not vote on the Coburn Amendment, though he is on record as opposing the Ketchikan bridge earmark.

(emphasis mine)

Why is this an issue? Because Obama has been attacking Governor Sarah Palin, Republican vice presidential pick, for supporting that same bridge. I call that hypocrisy.
