Yet another sign that Fred Thompson is getting ready to jump into the race.
Fred’s website has been upgraded:
ImWithFred.com 2.0 is looking more and more like the Web sites of the presidential contenders who are already in the race, and with the addition of some new features Mr. Thompson is showing that he’s clearly not willing to let his potential competitors get too far ahead, especially in their appeals to voters on the Internet, as he waits on the sidelines.
The site’s splashy front page sports a large window with clips of Mr. Thompson’s commentaries and appearances. His committee is calling the new video service “FredCast.†The site keeps the standard appeal to sign up as a Thompson supporter, the “FredFile†blog as well as links to Mr. Thompson’s pages on social networking sites like Facebook and MySpace.
The word on the street is September. By the way, his site is very Web 2.0. I like it.
