John McCain is ready to set up a cap and trade plan on carbon, because the global warming cultists have him convinced we are on a collision course with a global bake sale. Barack Obama is of the same mind, we are all going to fry unless we address the climate crisis.
Meanwhile, it’s already snowing in Idaho. For the record, it’s a record:
The earliest measurable snow recorded in the fall season in Boise was Oct. 12, 1969, according to Megan Thimmesch, a meteorologist at the National Weather Service in Boise. The term “measurable” for snow includes .10 inch or greater.
“We’ve been getting reports right up here in the Foothills at the Boise/Ada county line and at Ourada Ranch that it started snowing about 4:30 p.m.,” she said. “We’ve been watching the Bogus Basin web cams and, yes, they have snow at Bogus Basin. But also Idaho City.”
Of course, everyone has forgotten how to drive in snow, because it only snows every freaking year, so watch what you are doing out there if you have to drive.
But isn’t it interesting that last year we had a vicious winter all over the world, and this year, Jack Frost is getting an early start. Could it have anything to do with the lack of sunspot activity? Nah, it’s all about carbon dioxide.
