A Moment of Truth From the Obama Campaign, Obama Wants to "Spread the Wealth Around"

Joe the plumber, seriously, had a great question for Barack Obama. Joe’s business is doing great, and he wants to expand it. Joe is getting ready to buy a company. The business Joe wants to buy makes $250,000 to $280,000 a year. Barack Obama says he is going to raise taxes on Americans who make over $250,000 a year.

Joe wants to know, “Your new tax plan is going to tax me more, isn’t it?”

Then Barack gave us a peek behind the curtain.

“It’s not that I want to punish your success,” Obama replied. “I just want to make sure that everybody who is behind you, that they’ve got a chance for success, too . . . When you spread the wealth around, it’s good for everybody.

My goodness.

This is the mind of a socialist. There is a limited amount of wealth, the bulk of it is in a few people’s hands and it is up to the government to even things out.

News flash to Barack Obama and the Obamatons: wealth is created every day. It is CREATED!

Who got poorer when Bill Gates got richer? When a mutual fund manager makes money on the stock market, who has their money taken from them? When a plumber grows his business, and starts making more money, there isn’t a section of America that makes less money because of his success.

What Obama is talking about is exactly what he says he isn’t. He’s punishing Joe the plumber, the average guy trying to acheive the American Dream, because he is a success. If Joe were not as successful as he is, Obama would be happy to take from someone else to give to Joe. Instead, Joe’s hard work puts him in Obama’s crosshairs.

Obama is essentially making it financially painful to achieve the American Dream.
