It would be nice to hear from someone who has been in a public school classroom as a teacher and not an observer- administrator, college professor, or poltician. So many well-read, overly-scholared, observers are making decsions about various issues in the educational system; they haven't taught in a public school classroom in years some have never taught in one. My grand-mother died many years ago shortly after I graduated from college; her adive to me was not to become an educated fool.
