This could get intersting. PolitickerNJ is reporting the possibility of Senate President (and often, Acting Governor) Richard Codey of having to run against former US Senate candidates Joe Pennacchio:
Codey’s new hometown, Roseland (pop. 5,298), is on the Essex/Morris border. Mischevious mapmakers (perhaps Republicans, South Jersey Democrats, or both) could easily end Codey’s political career by putting him into a district with Republican Joseph Pennacchio.
Pennacchio is one of my favorite New Jersey Republicans. That would be one interesting race.
