A Facebook friend of mine and one time shipmate, Jason Douglass, posted this as a way of saying happy Veteran’s Day:
That’s me in the middle there, at a ripe old age of 22. You can see JO2 Alex Casadonte, aka Cas, also. Alex stops by the blog from time to time. He’s a cop now, still serving the country. Thanks for that, buddy.
A bit of trivia, Cas and I hosted a radio show for a while and I used the on air name of “Paul Nova.” Yeah, you guessed it. It was the “Cas and Nova Show.” I know it’s corny. Look at the picture. We were young.
To the Veteran’s who frequent this blog, thank you for doing what you do, so that we can do what we do. Without you on that wall, we would be lost.
