On one hand, kudos to the border patrol agents for their heroic deed. On the other hand, we need a f***ing fence.
U.S. Border Patrol agents helped rescue seven undocumented immigrants who were swept away by rushing floodwaters inside a tunnel as they tried to cross the Arizona border at Nogales.
Agents opened a manhole Tuesday night and found a 35-year-old woman from Puebla, Mexico, clinging to a piece of rebar as the swift-moving floodwaters rushed past, authorities said.
They had her tie a rope around her waist and then pulled her across the water and helped her out of the tunnel, said Sean King, a spokesman for the Border Patrol’s Tucson Sector.
She was taken to a hospital in Nogales for treatment.
Do ya think she payed the bill? No, you and I paid that bill.
