Today is being declared “Victory in Iraq Day” by the rightosphere. It isn’t an “official” day, nor has the government declared victory, but it is clear that our military has won the war in Iraq.
I am proud of our men and women in uniform who sacrificed so much to serve our country. I am also impressed with the Iraq citizens who stood tall in the face of evil and didnt blink. Without your efforts, the war might still be raging. Thank you both.
