Why Buy Made In USA

I Won A $140 Bag

Last week I was pleasantly surprised to find out that I won a very cool Tom Bihn Messenger Bag from WhyBuyMadeInUSA.com.  Just a couple of weeks earlier I’d won another contest on the internet, and I never win stuff. Winning two things in a row is nearly beyond my comprehension.  My wife told me to go buy a lottery ticket and go for the hat trick, but I don’t want to get too greedy.

Made In The USA, Baby!Winning that bag was pretty nice.  It was so nice in fact that I decided to get in touch with Matthew, the guy who runs Why Buy Made In USA, and thank him personally.  I came away from phone our conversation with three things; his website idea is fantastic, he is a remarkably nice guy, and he’s not getting a million hits a day, which is just crazy considering the stuff he is giving away every week.

Now, All American Blogger is not the biggest political blog in the world, but we I thought we might be in a position to be help introduce a good sized group of people to Matthew’s website.  I’m hoping that you (yes, you right there… wearing that shirt) will check out WhyBuyMadeInUSA.com and become it’s newest fan.

There’s A New Contest Every Week

When you do go to WhyBuyMadeInUSA.com you’ll see that Matthew is giving away a great American Made product every week. Last week it was the messenger bag, this week it’s a mini slinky. After that, it will be another high quality American Made product.

To enter, all you have to do is leave a relevant comment on one of his posts and you’re in the running.  You don’t even have to register to enter.  Go share your childhood memories of the slinky and you might just win one.  While you’re there, sign up for his free weekly email so you’ll have a reminder to go enter the contest every week.   My fellow twitter users, don’t be shy about telling your friends about his weekly contests too.  Spread the love.

Finally, I want to let everybody know that Matthew has also agreed to write a weekly column for All American Blogger.  We like what he’s doing at WhyBuyMadeInUSA.com, and we hope that by being part of our team, his site will get huge, make him a billionaire, and he’ll remember what great guys we are and give us a measly few million.  Or at least a gold plated mini slinky.
