Nine Trillion Dollars In The Red With The Reds

By Andrew Riley • Sep 3rd, 2007

debt.jpgIn response to last week’s poll question, “What is the most important problem facing the United States today?”, half of All American Blogger reader participants said it is the 9 Trillion dollar national debt. This leads me to believe our readers are not only well groomed, but also very smart people. A nation that is at the mercy of foreign creditors isn’t in the most desirable position. This week’s poll addresses one item on the long list of things we will have to do in order to eliminate the debt.

The second most voted item was the War in Iraq with 36%, and Illegal Immigration came in third with 14%. Terrorism came in dead last with zero votes, which makes me feel pretty good about the future of our country. I hope all the people who voted in our little poll will be voting when the real elections come around. And more importantly, I hope all of our readers will help our country by getting people informed and maybe even involved in the political process.
