Under the Health Care system of John Edwards, health care would not just be universal, it would be mandatory.
“It requires that everybody be covered. It requires that everybody get preventive care,” he told a crowd sitting in lawn chairs in front of the Cedar County Courthouse. “If you are going to be in the system, you can’t choose not to go to the doctor for 20 years. You have to go in and be checked and make sure that you are OK.”
He noted, for example, that women would be required to have regular mammograms in an effort to find and treat “the first trace of problem.”
This really angers me. Now it isn’t bad enough that this jerk wants me to pay higher taxes (Edwards estimates his program will cost an additional $120 billion/year) so someone who can’t handle their own business gets free health care. No, now I HAVE to go to the doctor, even when I don’t want to go. Do you see where this is going? Do you honestly understand where these people would take the country? Here’s a hint.
Now let me ask you this? Why do you think it would be any different under HillaryCare or BarackCare? It wouldn’t.

The collective takes precedent over the individual, at least on the left..
