Hezbollah Can Fire “500 and 600 rockets a day to Tel Aviv”

Back in May, the United Nations rejected the concerns of the West that Hezbollah was rearming.  The head of UN peacekeeping actually said it was highly unlikely there were more weapons in southern Lebanon than during the 2006 war.

“I think it would be very difficult for Hizbullah to put additional weapons in the area,” Alain Le Roy, the French head of the UN Department of Peacekeeping, told reporters.

Who is this rube? Every time there is a cease fire it is because Israel has handed yet another band of miscreants their collective tails and they need time to rearm and recover.

Now consider this story, published just a month later:

Hezbollah is tremendously magnifying its military capacities and compiling new combative techniques in addition to a remarkable increase in the number of its fighters and trainers. The Maariv report pointed that Hezbollah is seeking to reach a level of capability that would enable it to launch a thousand rockets on “Israel” during a 60-day period of time.

Citing Israeli intelligence assessments, the Israeli daily also estimated that the party was close to reaching this level of capacity as it can today send between 500 and 600 rockets a day to Tel Aviv and surrounding areas.

Six hundred rockets a day, fired into civilian areas without concern for the loss of innocent life and it will be Israel that is condemned.

With the new non-meddling unless you are a Marxist puppet of Hugo Chavez or Israel-stance of President Obama, what will deter the terrorists from firing at will. They know the international community will find fault with the little Satan, and the Great Satan will probably join them now in condemning Israel.

At least they voted in the right man to deal with the whole situation. Americans…not so much.
