They figure they'll ram it through, then we'll forget about it in plenty of time for 2010. Baucus and Tester, in particular, are convinced the people will accept whatever Obama hands down from on high. Basically, it's "what are they gonna do about it? Snicker...pfft!!" After all, the press is on their side and so are the armed forces. I’ve had my ear to the ground, and they don’t think it’ll be a problem.

They figure they’ll ram it through, then we’ll forget about it in plenty of time for 2010.
