The president is sinking like a stone:
The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Tuesday shows that 30% of the nation’s voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as President. Forty-one percent (41%) Strongly Disapprove giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -11 (see trends).
…
Overall, 45% of voters say they at least somewhat approve of the President’s performance. That’s down a point from yesterday and the lowest level of total approval yet measured for Obama. Fifty-three percent (53%) now disapprove. See recent demographic highlights from the tracking polls.
30 percent Strongly Approve, which is around the percentage of Americans who make up the Democrat base. The rest of America is starting to realize that Dick Morris may be right:
Things are looking bleak for the president, but he has two big things on his side. The first is we are years away from the next election. Remember Bill Clinton wasn’t faring to well in his first term either. He has plenty of time to pull the wool over the voter’s eyes again.
The second thing is the Republicans have no one right now besides Dick Cheney out there leading the charge. Who is the most visible right winger in Washington? Probably the most hated man on the right next to Rush Limbaugh. The right had better find a leader and soon. It needs to be someone who can articulately express conservative values, who can show a grasp of economics and inspire confidence.
Now, is my assertion correct and if so, who on the right can take the mantle of leadership from Obama and his band of Marxist sycophants?
