All I can say is that the swine flu was an epedemic in my family and our community in 1976. While we all survived, including my unborn child, I thought I was never ever going to feel good again. So sick with fever and cough for 2 weeks that I couldn't take care of myself let alone my toddler and when 3 weeks later I went back to work, I was so weak. I coughed for months after mostly recovering. I shudder to think about it. My recovery mirrored the rest of my family and friends. It was ugly.

I'm wondering, am I now immune to this swine flu? I suppose not.
