Nick Erfle battled cancer twice and won, but it took one bullet from an illegal alien to end the life of this father of two:

The gunman, an illegal immigrant who had been deported last year, fled after shooting Erfle, commandeering a stopped car at gunpoint and ordering the motorist to drive. About an hour later, a Phoenix police tactical team surrounded Erik Jovani Martinez, 22, on a west Phoenix street and shot him dead as he pointed a gun at the hostage. The hostage was not hurt.

Martinez, who had three children, was a gang member with a history of drug abuse, police say. He was convicted of theft in 2004 and served a short stint in prison in 2006. Immigration officials confirmed he had been deported in March 2006.

That emphasis is all mine. This low life had already been deported once and here he is again, shooting fathers in the face and killing them. Is that a job American’s won’t do, George? Officer Erfle had two kids. Two kids lost their daddy because people in Washington are more interested in getting the Hispanic vote than they are in protecting the country. Outrageous.

The illegal immigrant was stopped for jaywalking. He killed a cop over jaywalking. Tell me again this isn’t about illegal immigration, Geraldo.
