Is Joe Biden running things now? We have seen more of him than the guy living in the White House, unless there is a speech that needs to be made somewhere, then Obama’s all over it. But if there is important business, send in Biden:
Vice President Joe Biden is visiting Iraq on a previously unannounced mission to show the White House remains focused on the Iraq war.
The White House is announcing the trip, Biden’s third of this year, as a chance as well to meet with the full range of Iraqi leaders both in Baghdad’s central government and those of the Kurdish region in the northeast of the country where violence continues to flare.
I wonder if he’s still going to suggest they break the country up into three pieces. Don’t say you can’t see him doing that, either. This is Joe Biden we are talking about here.
