How come you keep paying for $1200 per month health insurance and do nothing but complain rather than shop around?
How come that leads you to turning to the government to fix your problems for you? Lazy or just not bright?

You are pissed at Bush, the white Republican for a war and spending, but can’t wait to jump on the half-white/half-black Democrat and his spending that makes Bush’s look small? Obama hasn’t ended either war (the process in Iraq was decided BEFORE Bush was done being President) and is expanding Afghanistan, like Iraq. He hasn’t stopped the Patriot Act, he’s continued Rendition (but on petty crooks, not brutal terrorists.

I assumed you’d like my dislike for Bush2, but you can’t help but try to focus away from the story at hand and try to tear down the person. It’s such a shame.

The info being tossed out during the hearings on whether or not to keep funding the Iraq war was that the Iraq and Afghan wars were costing 10 billion per month (between the 2). SO, 10 billion x 12 months = 120 billion a year. How many months since March 2003? 78. 78 * 10 = 780 billion dollars for TWO wars over more than 6.5 years. Congress spent 787 Billion on ONE bailout. Which is going to irritate people more, solely based on the amount spent? Something tells me that spending has gone down the last few months since we’ve been slowly pulling out of Iraq and are doing fewer patrols in the cities (which saves equipment, time, and human lives). We’ve spent MAYBE a trillion dollars over the last 8 years on TWO wars. Our deficit on this year’s budget alone is more than that. Cutting all spending for the wars immediately wouldn’t even come close to closing that budget difference.

The only thing we’ve seen of his birth certificate is a scanned copy. The things he promised about seeing bills 5 days before they were voted on hasn’t been followed. His only response to critics (of both sides) is that “they are lying, and I am telling the truth”. What kind of silly response is that, EVERY TIME? he’s keeping his special interests in the loop and keeping Americans in the dark. There’s more going on behind the scenes now than ever before. Some of it’s in plain site, but if the media doesn’t report on it, we’ll NEVER KNOW. And since he pretty much bought 1/2 the media (GE’s ‘co-op’ with the government when they just happen to own several stations) for lucrative future profits, we’re in the dark. need proof? read the other stories here. Bob Gibson, the ABC news anchor had NO IDEA about ACORN’s scandals. even days after the stories broke. that’s an EPIC failure for the media.
