Right now the Boy Scouts are doing their annual fundraising. While the Girl Scouts sell cookies, the Boy Scouts sell popcorn. They have microwave popcorn, carmel popcorn, cheese popcorn and chocolate popcorn. They have popcorn in boxes or tins. They even have trail mix.
If you don’t want any, remember that Christmas is coming up and the tins make great gifts, especially for us right wingers who know you not only gave us a tasty gift, but helped the Boy Scouts at the same time.
But one of the coolest things they have is a way to help the military, the Boy Scouts and my son in one easy step.
If you don’t want any popcorn, you can simply donate some to the military.

Everyone wins! And, when you click on the checkout, enter my son’s Boy Scout ID #3347791, and he gets credit for the sale, which benefits his troop directly.
Click here to see all the products the Boy Scouts offer, or if you know you want to donate to the military, click here. Go ahead and copy my son’ts Boy Scout ID now, so you don’t have to go looking for it later.
And thanks for helping.
UPDATE:
I sent this to all my StumbleUpon friends. Already one of them, apparently a very sensitive person, sent me the following reply:
This is the first time anyone on StumbleUpon has asked me for money. We are no longer friends.
In the spirit of Pineapple Express, I say that’s his loss, ’cause I’m a great friend.
Let me be crystal clear: I am not asking for your money. I’m asking you to help the Boy Scouts. I don’t get any of the money. I thought that was clear, but I guess it wasn’t. This is a fund raiser for the Boy Scouts, not me.
