To the All American Blogger reader, this is no surprise. As I have written before, this plan is based on the Massachusetts plan. And the Massachusetts plan has increased insurance premiums in the state to the highest in the nation:
The report by the Commonwealth Fund, a nonprofit health care foundation, showed that the average family premium for plans offered by employers in Massachusetts was $13,788 in 2008, 40 percent higher than in 2003. Over the same period, premiums nationwide rose an average of 33 percent.
Some while some get health insurance for free, you and I get to pay $20,000 more over the next ten years. This is what is known as “social justice.” In order for some to have more, I have to have less.
