In Kansas, the state isn’t really asking much from its abortionists. They just want them to report instances of possible sexual abuse. So naturally, the abortionists sued:
Kansas law requires that health care professionals, teachers, and other professionals who work with children must report all suspicion of sexual abuse. Aid for Women, a Kansas City abortion mill run by abortionist Sherman Zaremski filed suit against former Attorney General Phill Kline after he issued an opinion indicating that abortion clinics were required to follow the law.
The big problem is that abortion mills were aborting babies in underage girls but not reporting the sexual abuse. For example:
A case in point was that of Robert Estrada, who was convicted of raping his two young step-daughters and impregnating them a total of four times. The first pregnancy resulted in an abortion on one of the girls at age 12 at a Wichita abortion clinic where Zaremski worked. Because Zaremski and his staff refused to report the sexual abuse, it was allowed to continue on for years.
The abortionists were more concerned with the privacy of other girls who get abortions than they were about preventing sexual abuse in children. The judge made the suggestion that reporting was discretionary following some outrageous testimony. I warned you about the agenda to legalize pedophilia before. Here is another example of the progress being made to get that done:
After hearing testimony that included that of a homosexual psychologist who claimed that sex with 10-year old girls was healthy, Judge Thomas Marten ruled at trial that abortion clinics and other health professionals need not report all suspected cases to the authorities and left reporting of such abuse discretionary. (Emphasis mine.)
I would give my usual “Un. Be. Lieveable.” but, it isn’t unbelievable to me. It is all too real and this is another example. The agenda here is that abortion is more important than sexual abuse because sex with kids is healthy anyway. It appears that to the left, there are not too many things more important than protecting the “right” to kill your unborn child. Not even protecting the ones that survive.
