Writers of horror often had their monster make a rejuvenating potion brewed from the bodies of infants and virgins to show how scary and evil the monster/vampire was. The more innocents they killed out of their selfish quest for youth or power the more evil they appeared.

The news from Cleveland, OH today shows that such actions are still a horror to most people. The difference between the victims of Anthony Sowell and Neocutis or Planned Parenthood is only how old they were when they were killed for the pleasure of the monsters.

The slaughter of innocents is always the most accurate way to recognize the monsters in our own society.
