In my blockbuster blog post, Control by Carbon, the Totalitarian Side of Climate Change, I detailed the reason behind the global warming movement wasn’t to save to planet from fiery destruction, but control of the masses.
In the article, population control was mentioned first. For decades the left has been telling the world we are overpopulated. First it was the threat of mass starvation. Seeing that threat not come to pass, a new threat has been created. Since every human being has a carbon footprint and we are to believe that carbon dioxide is going to kill everyone, there therefore have to be controls on the number of people on Earth.
I shouldn’t say people. The left doesn’t see people, but unnecessary carbon emissions.
So how do you do limit “unnecessary carbon emissions?” You limit people’s right to procreate:
A planetary law, such as China’s one-child policy, is the only way to reverse the disastrous global birthrate currently, which is one million births every four days.
The world’s other species, vegetation, resources, oceans, arable land, water supplies and atmosphere are being destroyed and pushed out of existence as a result of humanity’s soaring reproduction rate.
Having been sold the line that coal fired power plants were the boogeyman behind the higher CO2 levels worldwide, it’s hard for me to accept that now the reason we are all going to die is because people are allowed to choose how many children to have. Are you starting to see the power desired by the green mafia?
How ridiculous is this? Consider the next sentence in the article:
Ironically, China, despite its dirty coal plants, is the world’s leader in terms of fashioning policy to combat environmental degradation, thanks to its one-child-only edict.
This moonbat wants me to believe that the reason China imposed a one child per family policy is “to combat environmental degradation.” How absurd.
Let me show you how concerned China is with “environmental degradation.” I saw this site a couple of days ago. You should check out all the images:
6. Guiyu, Guangdong province, (广东省贵屿镇) rivers and reservoirs have been contaminated, the villager is washing in a seriously polluted pond. November 25, 2005
7. Shizuishan Industrial district in Ningxia province (宁夏石嘴山湖滨工业园区), the tall chimneys spitted out smoke and dust. Residents took preventive measure for the falling dust from the sky when going outside. April 22, 2006
8. In the Yellow Sea coastline, countless sewage pipes buried in the beach and even extending into the deep sea. April 28, 2008
9. In Ma’anshan, Anhui province (安徽马鞍山), along the Yangtze River there are many small-scaled Iron selection factories and plastic processing plants. Large amounts of sewage discharged into the Yangtze River June 18, 2009
10. In Inner Mongolia there were 2 “black dragons” from the Lasengmiao Power Plant (内蒙古拉僧庙发电厂) covering the nearby villages. July 26, 2005
11. Jiangsu province Changshu City Fluorine Chemical industry land sewage treatment plant (江苏省常熟市氟化学工业园污水处理厂) was responsible for collection and processing of the industrial sewage. However they did not, the sewage pipe was extended 1500 meters under the Yangtze River and releasing the sewage there. 2009 June 11
Yeah, the Chinese may do this, but they are cutting edge environmentalists.
It was bad enough when the enviro-mafia wanted to fine me for having another child. Then they suggested giving me a card telling me how much carbon I could expend each year.
Now they want to control when and how I can plant my seed. (Yes, that is the first time I mentioned “my seed” on the blog. Another milestone.)
I thought the left was all about keeping the government out of the bedroom and for choice. Is that choice limited to a person’s freedom to terminate a pregnancy, but not take it to term?
So how does this flappy headed, beady eyed Canadian feel about China’s forced abortion policy? Is it just another feel good Mother Earth program to necessary to save the Amazon? Is this also a policy we should implement to save the planet?
Where does it end? How far is too far for the left?
