Class acts, all the way around:
A Wallingford man was arrested Saturday after his 2-year-old daughter was found wandering unattended on North 50th Street with his
glass marijuana pipe in her play purse. The girl "was wearing only a pajama top and no shoes, no socks, no pants or undergarments," Officer Chet Decker wrote in a
police incident report. "She also had a live rabbit, a family pet with her."Police also found an empty prescription bottle of a pain reliever in the girl's bright pink-and-orange purse. People walking in
the area of 50th and Wallingford Avenue North found her and called officers. She was allegedly wandering for at least eight minutes
before her father came outside and found her in the street.
It was 43 degrees outside. When the police asked "dad" if the pipe was his, he said the girl must have found it.
She did. It was dear old dad's, who later admitted to owning it. He said he was smoking the giggle weed on the back porch the night before. Anyone believe this guy left his pipe on the back porch after blazing up the night before? Or is it more likely he got high in the house, went to sleep and the kid found it there?
These parents are lucky the little girl didn't get killed, or worse.

This is America at its best. Good old neighbors, pretending to help a struggling family, then snitching them off to police out of the other side of their mouths.
