I don’t claim any inside knowledge or incredible political insight. I’m just a family man with a lap top and an opinion.
That being said, here’s what I wrote less than a week ago:
Can you see the ads?
“While you were struggling to pay your gas and electric bills, these Republicans were laying on a beach in Hawaii.” [ Cut to pics of Republican legislators in Speedos.]
Use your head, Steele. If you want to meet and discuss the future of the party, I suggest Kansas City. It’s in the center of the country and gives less of an elitist image.
GOP Chairman Michael Steele didn’t listen, and today, we get this headline on Fark:
As if that wasn’t bad enough, Steele went ahead and got leid:
“Relax,” Steele said while sporting a Hawaiian shirt and a flower lei. “We’re working hard here, trust me. This is not a vacation.”
Steele said the the meetings will “expose Hawaii to the rest of America.” He told KHON, a local TV station, that it was important for the RNC, “as a party,” to be in Hawaii, the home state of President Obama.
Brilliant. How could they not see this?
Can anyone tell me why it is “important for the RNC, ‘as a party,’ to be in Hawaii, the home state of President Obama?” And if you say birth certificate, I’m deleting your comment.
This is just dumb.
