Mark Sanford: Heartless Douchebag

I wanted him to step down. In my opinion, if you can’t keep your pledge to your wife, you can’t be trusted to keep your pledge to the people.

Now that I see what a heartless douche bag Gov. Mark Sanford is, I know I was right.

CHARLESTON, S.C. – In a new memoir about her husband’s affair, South Carolina first Lady Jenny Sanford writes that Mark Sanford sought her advice about his romance and how to deal with the media after she discovered his extramarital relationship.

It isn’t bad enough you screwed around on her, but then you have to go and ask her advice on how to manage the media?

Go away, Mark Sanford. Please.

You know, being from South Carolina, Mark Sanford seemed to be one of the last true conservative politicians, someone that I could sort of look up to (not really, but I don’t know how else to describe it).

Anyway, it really sucks that he is such a douchebag. It seems that he legitimately found another woman and really fell in love with her, which is why a married man (or woman) should never put themselves in that situation in the first place.
