As I said before, Rep. Eric Cantor was right to call for the GOP retreat to be held somewhere besides Hawaii. Not only did they go, but they donned Hawaiian shirts and leis.
The blow back for this bone headed decision continues:

There is a woman in this video who says “Appearances matter.” She was being critical of the Democrats. She continues:
Words mean things, but people also judge you by the things that you do.
No kidding? Irony is apparently lost in Hawaii.
You know, with this kind of decision making, it really makes me question Michael Steele’s decision making. And no, Michael, it isn’t because you are black. It’s because this was just plain dumb. If a guy with a laptop in Missouri can see this coming, why can’t you?
