A Prime Example of How The Main Stream Media Protects Barack Obama (Video)

I saw this over at Hot Air, and as I watched it, I could believe how quickly Soledad O’Brien started attacking Joel Pollack and defending Barack Obama and racialist Derek Bell.

It’s a stunning display of how overt the media has become in its support of Obama:

What a disgusting display of journalistic malpractice. The only member of that entire panel with a shred of integrity is Amy Holmes, who had the spine to question why we didn’t see this in 2008.

The rest started minimizing the radicalism of Bell, defending the president, and attacking Joel.

This is why the alternative media is so important. The main stream media has forgotten what it is here for.

Dem Congresswomen Refuse to Condemn Bill Maher’s Vile Comments About Palin (Video)

Two radical Democrat Congresswomen were confronted by freelance journalist Ed Frank and asked to comment on Bill Maher’s referral to Sarah Palin as a “cunt” and a “dumb twat.” Considering both women wasted no time releasing statements about Rush Limbaugh’s comment on Sandra Fluke, you would think they would be equally outraged at Maher’s offensive comments.

You would think…

Their silence is deafening, but it goes back to one point every protected class needs to recognize. You are important to a Democrat when you are useful in promoting the agenda. If you don’t, you’re dead to them.

The Vetting: In 1991, Obama Protested in Support of Racialist Havard Professor (Video)

As promised by Andrew Breitbart at CPAC, here is video of President Barack Obama during his college years, protesting for and embracing racialist, radical college professor Derrick Bell.

The PJ Tatler has some “fun facts” about Professor Bell:

Bell was credited with developing “critical race theory,” which suggested that the U.S. legal system was inherently biased against African Americans and other minorities because it was built on an ingrained white point of view. He argued in his many books and lectures that the life experiences of black people and other minorities should be considered in hiring decisions and in applying the law.

Bell maintained that the standards for promotion and tenure at law schools – and Harvard, in particular – were inherently discriminatory and excluded a broad group of minorities. By hiring only graduates of top-tier law schools who had clerked at the Supreme Court, he argued, academia was populated by a uniform group of standard-issue professors, most of them white men.
And why are we not surprised that he was a Farrakhan supporter?
Some scholars, both black and white, challenged Bell’s ideas, as well as his strong support of Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan. Nonetheless, Bell remained one of the country’s most outspoken public intellectuals until his death.
Author James Traub voiced this opinion in his  1993 piece on the professor:
That’s Derek Bell’s bottom line: if it comforts whites, it’s bad; if it comforts blacks–i.e., Farrakhan–it’s good. Bell, along with Farrakhan and so many others, offers victimization as a consolation.
A little bit more from Joel Pollack of Breitbart:

Bell, Pollak said, “was the Jeremiah Wright of academia and would have been proud to say he was the Jeremiah Wright of academia, because the ties between Jeremiah Wright and Derrick Bell are very, very close indeed.”

“Derrick Bell was the originator of a school of thought called critical race theory, and he said that the civil rights laws were bad for black people because it encouraged black people to believe that there could be racial equality. In his view, the entire system, the entire United States of America was white supremacist to its core and therefore you have to bring the entire system down. This is what he taught, this is what he wrote, and these are the ideas that Obama says on tape are inspiring him and causing everyone to open their eyes,” Pollak said.

Just because he protested in support of him doesn’t mean he shared his views. That makes as much sense as saying you went to the church led by a man you called your “spiritual mentor,” but you never heard his sermons in 20 years of attendance.

Articulate: 96 “Uhh”s in Under Five Minutes (Video)

I know, articulate is racist. But I thought President Obama was some sort of public speaking Jedi. In Toastmasters, you have a “Grunt Tabulator.” This is the person who keeps track of how many times you stop during your speech and say, “Uh…” They also keep track of double clutches. That’s where you start a sentence, pause, and then start it again.

Obama’s Grunt Tabulator would have pulled their hair out keeping track of everything during this video.

Ninety-six “uhh”s, in just under five minutes.

But Bush was a stumbling fool.

Meanwhile, Rush Limbaugh To Be Honored With a Statue at the Missouri Capitol

The left is working their hardest to keep a debate on religious liberty firmed focused on smearing Rush Limbaugh and Republicans in general as waging a war on women.

Meanwhile, the Missouri State Capitol is preparing a space for a statue in his honor:

House Speaker Steven Tilley, R-Perryville, confirmed Monday that Limbaugh, who, like Tilley, hails from southeast Missouri, will be honored with a place in the Hall of Famous Missourians, a circle of busts in the Capitol rotunda recognizing prominent Missouri citizens.

The unveiling is not expected until closer to the end of the legislative session in May, but, last month, a Kansas City artist published an announcement on his website indicating he was working on sculptures of Limbaugh and Dred Scott, whose landmark slavery case was heard at the Old Courthouse in St. Louis.

I’ll have to find out when the unveiling is so I can attend.

Lib Radio Host Mocks Tornado Victims: “Their God … keeps smashing them into little grease spots”

But what Rush said was bad:

“Their God … keeps smashing them into little grease spots on the pavement in Alabama, and Mississippi, and Arkansas, and Georgia, and Oklahoma. You know, the Bible belt, where they ain’t gonna let no goddamned science get in the way, it says in the Bible, blah blah blah blah. So, according to their way of thinking, God with his omnipotent thumb reaches down here and so far tonight has smashed about twenty people into a grease spot on highway 12, or whatever the hell highway they live next to.”

That, my friends, is hate and bigotry on full display.

I’d just like to note that following Rush’s rant on Sandra Fluke, the Radical in Chief called her to make sure she was all right.

He’s not called anyone who lost someone in the tornadoes.

Rep. Darrell Issa: This Isn’t About the Right To Contraception, But About Religious Liberty

The leftists in Washington know two things. First, Obama is losing women voters. Second, there’s no way they can allow the right to discuss Obama’s first term.

So, why not manufacture a Republican attack on women’s health. That would solve both problems. The media is more than willing to help the party they pretty much all support, so having been handed the water, they carry it with a smile.

Rep. Darrell Issa is doing his best to fight this smear attack on Republicans. In Roll Call, he writes:

As Democrats asked, “Where are the women?” 20 feet from them, Dr. Allison Garrett from Oklahoma Christian University and Dr. Laura Champion from Calvin College would explain their belief that this was an issue of religious freedom, not contraception.

“This debate is not about whether women have the right to obtain these drugs,” Garrett said. “Rather, this debate is about whether those who believe that contraceptives or abortifacients violate their religious convictions must pay for them. There is a vast difference between the right to make a purchase for oneself and requiring someone else to pay for it.”

According to Champion’s testimony, the issue is not about contraception because “contraception is not controversial at our school.”

The core issue we explored at the hearing was the federal government’s efforts to compel religious institutions to use their own money to pay for services that directly violate their religious teachings.

It’s a compelling premise, and one based on facts. But aye, there’s the rub. Liberals don’t deal in facts. They deal in theatrics, hyperbole and emotion. They understand that in the sound byte culture we live in, these are more effective tools to winning the narrative than telling the truth.

Sen. Claire McCaskill Is An ObamaClone (Video)

Missouri Sen. Claire McCaskill was one of the biggest Obama cheerleaders until she started noticing that Missouri voters didn’t really like much of what he was doing.  Then, she started getting all conservative.

Um, no.  That’s not going to fly, Claire.  You’re Missouri’s version of Obama in a skirt:

ForAmerica, the largest active online conservative organization, today launched an unprecedented social media campaign to educate voters in key Senate races for the 2012 cycle. Operation ObamaClone will educate voters on how U.S. Senators like Claire McCaskill have embraced President Obama’s failed policies including the Stimulus bill, ObamaCare, and other initiatives that have taken our country down the path to skyrocketing debt, increased job losses and Big Government expansion.

“Sen. Claire McCaskill has been cheering on President Obama and his destructive policies at every turn,” said ForAmerica Chairman L. Brent Bozell. “Missourians need to know how deeply into denial Sen. McCaskill has fallen when it comes to his worship of this failed president.”

At the new ForAmerica web site www.obamaclonemccaskill.com, Missouri voters will get valuable information about Sen. McCaskill’s record, his quotes and comments, press clippings, and videos illustrating how he has become an ObamaClone. ForAmerica’s campaign will utilize a cutting-edge social media effort, including online advertising, video and more, to keep Missourians informed about Sen. McCaskill.
