University to students: 'All whites are racist'

We talked about this on the podcast today, but I thought it was outrageous enough to warrant its own post. At the University of Delaware, over 7,000 students are being “treated” for “any incorrect attitudes regarding class, gender, religion, culture or sexuality they might hold upon entering the school.”

It gets worse:

The organization cited excerpts from the university’s Office of Residence Life Diversity Education Training documents, including the statement:

“A RACIST: A racist is one who is both privileged and socialized on the basis of race by a white supremacist (racist) system. ‘The term applies to all white people (i.e., people of European descent) living in the United States, regardless of class, gender, religion, culture or sexuality. By this definition, people of color cannot be racists, because as peoples within the U.S. system, they do not have the power to back up their prejudices, hostilities, or acts of discrimination….’”

The education program also notes that “reverse racism” is “a term created and used by white people to deny their white privilege.” And “a non-racist” is called “a non-term,” because, the program explains, “The term was created by whites to deny responsibility for systemic racism, to maintain an aura of innocence in the face of racial oppression, and to shift the responsibility for that oppression from whites to people of color (called ‘blaming the victim’).”

All whites are racist. Isn’t that a bit…I don’t know…racist?

The University of Delaware is a state school that receives federal funding. Your tax dollars are paying for this brainwashing.

Here’s a number to call: (302) 831-2792. From the main page of the school’s website.

Beat Whitey – Get a Reward!

I’m having a hard time even writing an intro to this piece without coming across as a racist, so I will just use one of my usual intros.

Nails it:

Be a black thug – beat a white student senseless – you and your families get rewarded with an all-expense-paid “getaway for a relaxing weekend” while they watch you hand out awards on BET to a standing ovation. After all, six black thugs damn near killing a “white boy” in an unprovoked, cowardly attack can be tiring and stressful. But be a black student who works hard, gets good grades, speaks proper English, refuses to stoop to the lowest common denominator, and you are accused of “acting white.”

Have a 21-count indictment for child pornography in Chicago and indictments in Florida for same, with videos of your (alleged) sexual acts with minors selling on the street corners, and the NAACP will give you its Image Award (evidence: R. Kelly).

But be a black woman who enrolled at the University of Denver at age 15, who is fluent in Russian, has served three presidents, is an accomplished pianist, was a former provost of Stanford University, has written several books on international relations, is the former assistant to the president of the United States for national security affairs and today serves as the secretary of state, and you are called a sellout, which is the kindest of the pejoratives you are called. But declare yourself a “bitch and a ho,” make a salacious music video and you will win a Grammy award.

Demand black-theme college dorms, segregated tables in school cafeterias, separate minority graduation exercises, black studies curricula and black-only orientation, and it’s because you need a “safe place.” After all, being around all those white students wears hard on a brotha’ after three hours of class. But be a white student and even contemplate the notion of a white-only orientation, and we would see a national furor.

In the name of “we’re gonna make whitey pay for what Alex Haley said they did,” many blacks continue to take one step forward and five steps back.

Also:

Whites are not the enemy of blacks – the Jacksons and Sharptons, et al., along with a government that sanctions divisions based upon race, are the enemies of blacks. I will be soundly criticized for saying it, but until blacks start taking personal responsibility for themselves, their actions, their families and their neighborhoods, the last thing they should do is blame white people for anything – anything that is, save for being weak and unwilling to stand up for their own personal dignity.

Personal responsibility. Say it again. It is a liberating mindset. Embrace it. When you are no longer a victim, then you are truly a free man.

Make Up Your Liberal Minds

The stupidity of this story just makes my brain hurt.

A police report states that shortly after 5 o’clock on Tuesday, a person called Miami University police to report some suspicious ropes hanging from a tree. Officers found eight ropes in all hanging from the tree on the west side of Patteson Place, seven of them tied into nooses and one with a tire tied to it.

The student at the display says it was part of an assignment to create a controversial art display and was not racially motivated. After being confronted by officers, he removed the ropes.

This kid better get an “A” for his art project.

University President David Hodge says, “I am deeply trouble by this incident and the insensitivity that it reflects. I am dismayed that any person on this campus…would even unintentionally create such a display.”

Well Mr. University President, I’m pretty sure this was an intentional display, what with it being an art project assigned by a member of your faculty. I’m deeply troubled that the University would hand out the assignment asking kids to be controversial and then be surprised when the kid does what you asked him to do. Are you so blindly liberal that you can’t even keep your stupidity straight? Put down the bong and come check out reality Mr. Hodge.

Hodge has asked for a complete investigation into the incident. So far, there have been no criminal charges and Hodge is encouraging students, staff and faculty to discuss the meaning of the incident. [source]

I can save everybody a lot of time and money. The meaning of the incident is that the kid was given an assignment to create a controversial art display and he aced that assignment. David Hodge is a moron if this isn’t obvious to him.

The idea that there would be criminal charges against this kid is asinine.

Let's Hear it for "Google Government"

No, Google has not bought the United States. Japan won’t sell it. And they haven’t bought the government. The Saudis are not selling either.

Google government is a pretty cool idea that Ron Paul and Barack Obama have said they will do:

Enter Sen. Barack Obama, Rep. Ron Paul, Sen. Sam Brownback, Sen. Mike Gravel, Rep. Dennis Kucinch and Mr. John Cox. These presidential candidates have all embraced the concept of “Google government” by signing the Oath of Presidential Transparency— which is sponsored by a non-partisan coalition led by the Reason Foundation.

By signing the oath they are promising, should they win the presidency in 2008, that they will issue an executive order during their first month in office instructing the entire executive branch to put into practice the Federal Funding Accountability and Transparency Act of 2006, a Google-like search tool that will allow taxpayers to hop online and see exactly how their tax dollars are being spent on federal contracts, grants and earmarks.

Where are the rest of the so-called fiscal conservatives? This is something they could do that would really excite the base. Let’s get on board fellas.

Do the Dems Want the SCHIP bill to Fail?

Peer Hannaford of the American Spectator says they do, and here’s why:

They are convinced that it is a surefire issue for them, come November 2008. They don’t care as much about children as about winning the next election. They figure they can hang the blame for “hurting children” on the Republicans, win veto-proof majorities in Congress in ’08 and/or
the White House. Then, they will move toward their real goal: nationalized, government-run health care for all.

The SCHIP bill was intended to be the camel’s nose under the health care tent. SCHIP was actually created by a Republican Congress in 1997 to cover poor children, period. The major flaw in the bill is that it would expand coverage to approximately two million children who are already privately insured. Children in families of four with annual incomes of twice the poverty level (approximately $40,000) are currently eligible for SCHIP. This would be raised to include families making three times the poverty level, or $61.900. This is well above the median U.S. household income ($48,201, according to the Census Bureau). Thus, it would move SCHIP coverage well into the middle class.

This, indeed, is the camel shoving its nose well into the tent. “Fee” government health insurance? If you and your family already have private coverage and make $61,900 a year, would you drop it for the “free” coverage? Of course. So, this year it’s $61,900; next year $80,00, and so forth.

For the record, if my family ever becomes eligible for “free” government insurance, I will reject it. I prefer to pay my own way, thank you very much. I just wish mor people would. This whole attitude of “Well, it’s already there. You’d be a fool not to take it” is dishonest and unethical. No Sir. Count me out.

As for the opinion, it makes sense. Would you really be that surprised to find out the Dems just wanted to use the children as a political wedge? Me neither.

Hey Meatsack, Politics Got You Down?

Unless you’ve got the personality of a prostate exam, you will surely be happy about this. Yeah, I know it’s a stretch to write a post about Futurama like this on our political blog, but I’m so excited my nips are perked.

Some people dream in black and white. Some dream in color. When I dream, it’s in the year 3000.

"When we return to the moon, China will be waiting…"

Hillary is clamoring about the increased funding for science and technology when she is president. She pledges a “robust space program.” China, however, is doing just fine in that area now. Thanks to the Clintons:

Last Wednesday, China launched its first lunar probe, the Chang’e 1 lunar orbiter, named after a mythical Chinese goddess who flew to the moon. The 5,070-pound probe was launched from the Xichang Satellite Launch Center in Sichuan province aboard a Long March 3A rocket. The probe is expected to send back its first photos in November and to conduct exploration of the moon for a year.

The Long March has proved to be a reliable Chinese launch vehicle, but it wasn’t always so. After the failed launch of a satellite built by Loral Space and Communications Ltd. attached to a Chinese rocket in February 1996, Loral provided 200 pages of data to China’s Great Wall Industry Corp. to correct the guidance system problems of their “Long March” rockets, which blew up 75% of the time.

The export of such data, which also are applicable to the guidance system of ICBMs, had been banned for national security reasons since the 1989 Tiananmen Square massacre — until President Clinton granted a waiver.

On March 14, 1996, the Clinton administration transferred licensing responsibility for technology exports to the Commerce Department from State and Defense. As a result, our formerly strict export controls were effectively eviscerated.

This transfer of licensing responsibility was made after a request from a man who would be the Democratic Party’s largest donor in 1996 — Loral Chairman Bernard L. Schwartz. Schwartz would give $1.5 million to the Democratic Party in that year. Two years later Loral would receive a blanket presidential waiver to export missile technology to China, even though the company was under investigation by the Justice Department for similar transfers.

And now Hillary is getting all kinds of money from Chinese sources that cannot be traced. Suspicious yet?
